THE FOREST DAYS OF ENTRE RÍOS
Reference Event for the Industrial Forestry sector
Jornadas Forestales de Entre Ríos is an event that takes place every year, since 1986, taking place mainly in the city of Concordia, which reaches its XXXVII edition. The main organizers are INTA Concordia and AIANER (Association of Agricultural Engineers of Entre Ríos), accompanied by public and private entities.
The event has contributed to the dissemination of the importance of afforestation for sustainable development, and has promoted the sustainable use of forest resources. It has also contributed to the training of professionals in the forestry sector, which has led to greater competitiveness in this environment.
The main objective of this conference is to promote the development of forestry-industrial activity in Argentina and neighboring countries. In which spaces are generated for the different actors of the sector to meet, exchange knowledge and experiences, strengthening commercial, personal and institutional ties; generating ideas and projects for the different challenges that originate in the forest-industry.
The topics covered are varied and cover all aspects of forestry, from forestry to wood processing, marketing and export. The event includes activities, such as visits to forest plantations, industry and exhibitions of forest products.
For the XXXVII edition of 2023, a one-day session is offered, in PRESENTIAL form where the format consists of a seminar with topics related to Carbon Credits and new technologies applied to forestry production, during the course of the morning and by In the afternoon, a field trip with a presentation of information on clonal plantations (genetics, forestry and wood properties).
On this occasion, as at the beginning of these conferences, it will be held in the Microcine of the Argentine delegation of the Salto Grande Mixed Technical Commission (CTM) neighboring the Dam and the El Alambrado Field of INTA. The date for the meeting is September 28, 2023 at 9:00 a.m.
