Mendoza was the setting for the VII Latin American Forestry Congress and the V National Forestry Congress, held from March 27 to 29 at the Dr. Emilio Civit Congress and Exhibition Center. More than a thousand people, including leaders from the public and private sectors, NGOs, universities, and research and training institutes, gathered at this highly relevant event. The Minister of Culture and Tourism, Nora Vicario, highlighted the importance of this meeting, not only as a space for debate on environmental issues, but also because of the economic and social impact it represents for the province of Mendoza in terms of tourism.
